The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. Un papier adhésif de bordage kraft court le long des bords. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. Quelques accrétions sont par endroits sur la surface, deux plus visibles vers le quart inférieur gauche. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. An adhesive kraft framing paper is along the turnover edges. The surface is very slightly dusty. A few accretions are in places to the surface, two more visible ones are to the lower left quadrant. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
