The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall very good condition, structurally sound and ready to place. Each pedestal is constructed in two part; the lower tapering case and upper section including the paneled top and mask. The bronzes with a bright, clean appearance and likely refreshed or regilt in areas. The veneers with minor nicks, nibbles and losses in areas, particularly along the exposed, unmounted edges. Two small losses to the left side of one pedestal above the frieze and uppermost edge. Light surface abrasions to the tops from historic use. The side panels with minor indentations in the central section. The reverse of each with drilled holes intended for wall anchors.
