The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Les traces de manipulation par endroits le long des bords sont inhérentes à la méthode de travail de l’artiste. Quelques légers transferts de matière sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The corners present very slight wears, accompanied with points of paint loss. The handling marks in places along the edges are inherent to the artist’s working method. A few slight paint transfers are visible in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
