Lot Essay

The Patek Philippe Ref. 5080 was produced between 1996 and 2002 in stainless steel and stainless steel with gold versions. Straddling the line between a sports watch and a Calatrava, this watch has plenty of appeal as a versatile watch which can be dressed up or down. Of course, engrained with Patek Philippe DNA, this is clearly a special piece but perhaps with greater usability than other references.

Provenance: Phillips, Hong Kong, July 2020; Lot 1039
