The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Sheet floats freely. Faintly light-stained, consistent with the work's age. Artist's tack-holes to the lower corners and four along a vertical line off center right. Left and right edges irregular. Faint flattened crease to the lower left corner. Small nick to the lower left edge. Vertical flattened crease at center right. Faint handling creases and scuff marks. A few pinpoints of foxing. On the reverse: sketches by artist and a few scuff marks in places. The line is strong. No tears or restorations detected. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
