The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas is taught. The paint layer is stable. Collage elements are stable despite some occasional lifting. A small restored canvas tear in the lower right quadrant, only visible from the back and possibly studio related. When examined under ultraviolet light there is no apparent inpainting. It’s our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
