The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A light layer of surface dust and soiling is present. Minor wear and fine abrasions are intermittently to the artist's frame. The image has shifted very slightly in tone. Visible close inspection and raking light, a few soft scuffs are occasionally to the image, with a more notable one to the upper right quadrant. Pale drip accretions are scattered. Visible under ultraviolet light, a few spots to the artist's frame fluoresce distinctly but do not appear to be inpainting. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
