Lot Essay

The Ipso-Matic Cioccolatone is aptly nicknamed for it's resemblance to a piece of chocolate, and houses one of the most important early automatic movements. Creative automatic wristwatch solutions were developed in response to Rolex's 1932 automatic-winding mechanism patent. Brands like Longines and Felsa created bumper style movements such as a present lot which is equipped with the Felsa 693 Bidynator caliber with triple calendar and moon phases.
