The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Tous les éléments semblent être présents. La structure de l’œuvre est en bonne condition. La surface est légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. L’allumette en bois est fixée à une base en aluminium au-dessous par deux vis. Quelques accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Présence de quelques fissures du bois dans la partie inférieure. La base en aluminium présente quelques griffures, traces de frottement et d’oxydation. Présence de quelques traces de frottement, abrasions et enfoncements par endroits, principalement le long des arêtes. La partie peinte en jaune présente quelques lignes de craquelures du bois inhérentes à son vieillissement naturel, quelques traces de frottement, transferts de matière ainsi que de très petits manques de matière en bordure de la partie en bois. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

All elements appear to be present. The work is structurally sound. The surface is slightly dirty and dusty. The wooden match is fixed onto an aluminum base to the underneath with two screws. A few accretions are visible in places to the surface. There are a few cracks to the wood to the lower part. The aluminium base presents a few scratches, rubbing and oxidation marks. Rubbing, a few abrasions and dents are in places, mostly along the extreme edges. The yellow painted area presents a few lines of wood cracks which are inherent to its natural aging, a few rubbing, medium transfers as well as minor medium losses along the edge of the wooden area. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
