The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- with 24-26 mm. margins on three sides, slightly smaller (16 mm.) below.
- two pale foxmarks, one in the centre of the composition, one in the lower left margin.
- some pale staining in places, mainly in the margins and verso.
- some time staining at the extreme sheet edges.
- some soft cockling, mainly visible in raking light.
- the sharp platemark partially broken at left.
- inscribed in pencil verso.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
