The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue sans cadre. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. Quelques points de manque de matière sont visibles par endroits sur les arêtes des angles, ne nuisant pas à la composition: un petit à la périphérie d'un clou, vers l'angle supérieur gauche, et un autre, associé à un petit trou du panneau, en haut au centre, dû à un ancien montage. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold without a frame. The surface is very slightly dusty. A few points of paint losses are visible in places to the extreme edges to the corners, not disturbing the composition: a small one to the periphery of a nail, towards the upper left corner, and another, associated to a small hole to the panel, to the upper center, due to a former mounting. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
