The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or cracks detected. The handles securely attached. There is evidence of a small, skillful area of restoration to the top of the right handle. The engobe is uneven in places, in keeping with the artist's technique. Some networks of crazing to the white glaze, inherent to the medium. The underneath with some wear to the footrim. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition
