The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. A few areas of rubbing at the rim. A tiny loss to the engobe at the lower centre rim and a further tiny one beneath the sun. Light fritting and a couple of very small areas of abrasion to the raised elements. Fine networks of crazing to the glaze, inherent to the medium. Some inconsistencies and imperfections to the green and blue engobe, from the time of execution. The underneath with further areas of rubbing to the underside of the rim, two footmarks and some wear to the base. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.
