The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior exhibits marks, dents and scratches, there are some small perforations to the wooden slats, visible wear to the canvas covering the hinges. The lozine trim exhibits prominent patina, dents and marks. The black crosses are faded. The leather closure strap is missing. Hardware appears to have been cleaned and polished, still it exhibits dents and scratches.

Interior appears to have been restored, still it exhibits light marks and stains.
