The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged periodically at the edges to the backing board and undulates slightly. The edges of the sheet are deckled with some minor age-consistent wear and faint scuffs. Minute losses are occasionally to the extreme edges and pinpoints of stray media are to the center right edge. A faint spot of skinning is to the upper right corner. A minute drip accretion is to the upper left quadrant, and another is to the upper right corner. A sketch in graphite is to the reverse. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
