The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Les ondulations et légers soulèvements des collages de papiers sont inhérents à méthode de travail de l'artiste. Présence de quelques accrétions superficielles par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold without a frame. The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dusty. The undulations and slight lifting of the paper collages are inherent to the artist’s working method. There are a few superficial accretions in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
