The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The painted icon appears to be a fragment, presumably from a pair of Royal Doors, inserted into a later panel. Background colors stripped to the gesso. There is restoration to the rocks between the two figures and the upper left part of the panel on the mountains, and a few smaller areas of retouching in places.
