The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corner-tips and periodically along the edges. Fine handling marks are to the lower center edge in a black painted passage. Pinpoint artist's skips are occasional, most notably along the extreme edges. A few pinpoint accretions are occasional to the white passages. Visible under close inspection and raking light, a few faint hairline scratches are occasional to the edges. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
