The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
A wooden strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. Wear, rubbing and fine hairline tension cracking is to the corner-tips and turning edges. Three pinpoint holes are to the upper right quadrant in a white painted passage and a fine linear abrasion is to the lower right quadrant in a red painted passage. Drying, hairline, nascent and radial cracks, some with associated losses and stabilized lifting, and losses are scattered, most notably to the passages of heavier impasto. Accretions, fine scuffs and areas of efflorescence are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
