The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some small scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Ellagem earrings with some glue residue to the pearl settings. With retractable post and clip fittings, some of the retractable posts might benefit from tightening.
- Additional marks: Ellagem earrings with Italian 750 marks; coloured pearl earrings unmarked.
- Cultured pearls: of black to white and slightly cream body colour, with green and rose overtones, drop-shaped, good lustre, with some small blemishes, the black pearls with banding and a few more noticeable blemishes and small pits.
- Emeralds: with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, some small scratches and nicks to the facets.
- Sapphires and coloured sapphires: with typical inclusions, a few surface reaching, a few small scratches to the facets.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 5.00 - 6.00 carats, assessed to be on average H to J colour, VS to SI colour.
