The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition; some small firing flaws (kiln speckles, a firing line, etc.) in the making; a small spot of crazing a minor staining under one handle (mainly obscured by the handle); some light scratches and wear. The mounts with some minor surface scratches, slight casting inconsistencies, light oxidation and rubbing, as to be expected. Two of the ring handles are soldered as complete circles; the other two each broken at this join, generally concealed by the hanging-loop where it connects to the rim-mount, still stably attached to the body.
