The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
One cup with a small nick to the mouth rim, and a very small glaze burst bubble associated with a very faint horizontal line to the mouth rim.
Both cups with a paper label with the handwritten inscription '356'.
Otherwise, the cups are in good overall condition with general age-related surface wear, scratches and minute firing spots/faults as can be expected.
