The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Les quelques très légers soulèvements de certains collages sont inhérents à la méthode de travail de l’artiste. Présence de quelques légères traces de frottement et lustrages par endroits le long des bords du panneau peint. Une petite ligne de manque de matière est le long de l'arête gauche du panneau peint, vers la partie inférieure. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The lower left corner of the cardboard undulates very slightly, which is only visible under raking light. The few very slight liftings of some collages are inherent to the artist's working method. There are a few slight rubbings and lustring in places along the edges of the painted panel. A small line of medium loss is along the left extreme edge of the painted panel, towards the bottom. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
