The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Présence de quelques légères traces d'oxydation, traces de frottement et fines griffures par endroits sur la surface. La base en ardoise, conforme à la méthode de travail et présentation de l’artiste présente des traces d’usure: craquelures, fissures, manques de matière, griffures, accrétions et enfoncements par endroits. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

All elements appear to be present. The work is structurally sound. The surface is slightly dirty and dusty. There are a few slight oxidation marks, rubbings and thin scratches in places to the surface. The slate base, in keeping with the artist’s working method and presentation, presents signs of wear: cracks, medium losses, scratches, accretions, and dents in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
