The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par du papier adhésif kraft le long des bords. Quelques accrétions sont par endroits, dont deux plus visibles le long du bord supérieur, vers la droite. Une légère trace de frottement est dans une partie noire au centre de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a carboard support with adhesive kraft paper. A few accretions are in places, counting two more visible ones along the upper edge, towards the right. A minor rubbing is to a black impasto to the center of the composition. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
