The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. Les bords de la feuille sont très légèrement irréguliers. Quelques petites accrétions sont vers le quart inférieur gauche, uniquement visibles en lumière rasante. Un empâtement rouge dans la partie supérieure présente quelques très fines craquelures de séchage stables. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The edges of the sheet are very slightly irregular. A few small accretions are to the lower left quadrant, only visible under raking light. A red impasto to the upper part presents a few very thin and stable drying cracks. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
