The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- all ten sheets fractionally trimmed (Feldman & Schellmann call for sheet dimensions of 914 x 914 mm.) - the colours slightly attenuated. - the sheets cockling as is common with this edition. - pale unobtrusive moisture staining along either the upper or the lower sheet edges. - repaired tears, splits, and re-touched ink losses (to varying degrees). - some areas of minor ink loss at the extreme sheet edges. - time-staining overall, darkening at the edges. - backboard staining verso. - several sheets with remains of old glue and numerous retouched thin spots along two to three sheet edge verso; or with old Cellotape hinges verso. - Each framed (with perspex).
