The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. The ormolu with some minor surface scratches, casting flaws, verdigris and rubbing, as to be expected. Some very minor discoloration to the burnished surfaces as a result of cleaning. The handles and putto slightly loose. Appears to retain its original mercury gilding. One of the upper corners of the plinth base with a very minor ding, presumably from an old impact. Ready to place.
