The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The side edges of the canvas have been trimmed and the work is relined. Mild frame abrasions, faint discoloration and pinpoint losses are to the edges. Stable hairline craquelure is scattered. Visible upon close inspection, tiny stable losses are intermittently scattered. Visible under ultraviolet light, small spots of inpainting are scattered.
