The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Wear commensurate with age. Some small areas of tarnish. Bracelet clasp secure, with safety chain. Natural pearl and diamond cluster detaches to be worn as a pendent necklace, pendant fittings and chain deficient.
- Additional marks: French marks for silver and 18 carat gold (boar and eagle's heads), French maker's mark 'CF & Cie possibly a bird cage or fountain' (unidentified).
- Natural pearl: of light greenish grey body colour, with green, rose and aubergine overtones, partially drilled, overall very good lustre, a few small blemishes.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 5.00 - 6.00 carats, assessed to be on average K to L colour, VS to SI clarity.
