The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good condition overall. The kovsh appears to be re-gilt. Scattered small nicks and bruises in places, as may be expected. There is a bruise to the right side of the base of the kovsh just under the handle, measuring around 1 cm, and two smaller bruises to the side of the base just under the prow. There is a split to the right side of the prow, measuring approximately 0.8 cm. The handle slightly bent downwards, with a few small associated splits to silver where it was bent. The base slightly uneven. Otherwise, general surface wear, scratching and minor rubbing to gilding, consistent with age.
