The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work was inspected within its frame, thus the sides could not be checked but the reverse is visible. Slight surface dust. Faint hairline cracks to the upper left corner. Tiny areas of negligible drying craquelures to areas of thick impasto, only visible upon very close inspection. Slight framing abrasion to the lower extreme edge. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
