The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- the screenprinted surface in generally very good condition. Some very faint polishing marks in the black and red, as is common, and only visible upon very close inspection.
- a flattened and unobtrusive 10 cm. diagonal crease at the upper left corner in the margin (mainly visible in a raking light).
- on the reverse, some very minor skinning at the four corners associated with previous hinges.
- some minor surface dirt at places in the right margin.
Otherwise as described and generally in very good condition.
