The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is tape along the turnover edges that is lifting slightly. There are some scattered pinpoint paint losses in the upper left quadrant, lower centre, and near the lower right extreme edge. There are some very fine hairline cracks to the centre of the lower horizontal edge. There are some scattered white media marks. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
