The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing and all functions are working; however, a service is recommended. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Case: The case is in good condition, with some signs of wear and polishing in the past. The case back shows signs of wear. Both hallmarks are still visible. The lugs appears to have been redone and welded to the case following polishing, in doing so they are not symmetric anymore. The upper right lug is more bent than the others.
Dial: The dial has been cleaned in the past. The dial has many stains on its surface, probably from humidity. Oxidation visible towards the bottom of the dial and near the 7 o'clock index. Hands and indexes with scratches and oxidation.
Buckle Clasp: Unsigned.

Please note that Christie’s has applied for an “Extract from the Archives” from Patek Philippe Archives but the Extract has not yet been issued and may not be available by the date of the auction. The lot is sold “as is” without any Extract and Christie’s does not guarantee Patek Philippe Archives will issue the Extract.

The watch is sold and delivered with a Christie's branded strap, the original strap is not included in the sale.
