The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This vase is in good overall condition.
There are the inevitable marks, scratches and minor scuff marks consistent with age and use.
Some minor wear and nibbling to the edges of the rim, as to be expected.
Some hairline cracks to the upper part of the porphyry.
A repaired break down one side of the porphyry, difficult to see with the naked eye and expertly repaired.
Small hairline cracks and surface marks to the base.
Overall it presents very well and is ready to place.
