The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, including some abrasion marks and some indentations to the metal. Fitted with clip backs.
-Additional marks: 750.
-Opal: with good play-of-colour, with some inclusion, graded as far as mounting permits. Some plaques with fissures and crazing lines.
-Mother-of-pearl: with typical iridescence. Some plaques with typical blemishes such as wrinkles and crazing lines.
