The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. Minor fritting and light scuffs to the rim in places. The leftmost leg with a few small areas of loss to the black engobe. Light pitting to the black glaze, inherent to the artist's medium. The underneath with three footmarks from the time of firing, one with a small area of associated surface abrasion. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
