The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Presents well; typical small chips and fritting to rims and high points; light wear and scratches; minor firing flaws in the making; the center with some overpaint touch-up, including through the left side of the armorial; restored chipping to three corners of the well and to chips on the rim; the reverse with a circular glaze loss (approx. 1¹⁄₈ in. diameter) over the mark; an area of overpaint to the underside of the rim at 3 o’clock.
