In the Baroque style, after a silver example, the heavy body of arched rectangular form, painted with crowned accollé arms flanked by lion supporters, against an ermine drape, within a scrollwork well and broad border of shell pendants alternating with flowerheads, within a gadrooned rim

Lot Essay

Though its obscured the mark is only partly visible due to a glaze loss, the present lot is nearly identical, save the central coat of arms, with the previous lot in this sale, and can almost certainly be attributed to Lambertus Van Eenhoorn, De Metaale Pot.
