The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. Un papier de bordage noir court le long des bords. Les bords de la feuille sont très légèrement irréguliers. L’angle inférieur droit présente une très légère usure. Quelques points d'accrétion sont par endroits, principalement au niveau des jambes d’un personnage dans le quart inférieur gauche, uniquement visibles en lumière rasante. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. A black framing paper is along the turnover edges. The edges of the sheet are very slightly irregular. The lower right corner presents a very slight wear. A few pinpoint accretions are in places, mostly to the legs of a character to the lower left quadrant, only visible under raking light. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
