The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat backing with archival tape. Faintly light-stained and mat-stained. Artist's tack-holes to the right and lower left corners and one at center. Right and left edges uneven. Slight undulation of the sheet to the upper left edge. Some faint scuffing in places. Intermittent splits along a vertical line at center, possibly from the artist's working method, reinforced with Japan paper on the reverse. The line is strong.
