The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le tableau a fait l'objet d'un rentoilage. Il est sur un châssis rapporté, à clefs. Le rentoilage a été correctement effectué.
A l'oeil nu, on constate des petites matités de matière dans la partie supérieure gauche correspondant peut-être à d'anciennes restaurations. Le tableau est encrassé.
L'examen à la lumière UV révèle des retouches dans les zones mentionnées ainsi que des retouches dans le ciel, le bas-relief posé au sol et quelques figures. Le tableau est sous un vernis vert uniforme.

The painting has been relined and is held under correct tension on keyed stretcher.
In natural light certain areas where the paint appears more matt can be observed in the upper left, possibly corresponding to old restorations. The paint surface carries some dirt.
UV examination reveals retouching in the areas mentioned above, as well as retouching in the sky, the bas-relief lying on the ground, and on a few of the figures. The painting is covered with a uniform varnish that fluoresces green.
