The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior exhibits significant marks and dents, visible wear to the canvas covering the hinges. There is light swelling to the front side, with some losses to the canvas. The leather to the handles exhibits dryness and creasing. The leather closure strap is missing. Hardware exhibits dents and oxidation.

The interior is incomplete, it exhibits stains and marks.
