The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Some hairline cracks, the longer one being a Y-shaped 11 cm. long crack in the well, a few of the cracks with associated losses of glaze along the crack lines.
The glaze with a network of crackles characteristic of this type of glaze.
A nicks and some shallow nicks to the foot rim.
Some deep scratches.
A paper label with the handwritten inscription '273' to the base.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
