Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
No cracks detected. On close inspection, a small area of sympathetic cosmetic restoration to the footrim. Minor surface dirt in places, predominantly to the interior of the mouth, and in a small area to the top of the handle. One close inspection, there are a few further black and blue scuff marks to the body of the vessel. The footrim with a small chip and some light wear. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
