The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There is minor wear scattered to the edges and corner tips. Faint stretcher bar marks are near the upper and lower edges, and a spot of disturbed fibers and wear is at the upper left corner, all likely associated with a previous stretcher. Hairline cracking is scattered to some of the thickly painted passages in the lower right quadrant, and there are a few small losses to some of the impasto peaks. The painted surface continues onto the right side edge and overlap of the canvas. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
