The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue sans cadre. L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. Un ruban adhésif de bordage blanc court le long des bords. Quelques légères zones d'écaillage stables, pour certaines associées à d’anciennes griffures ou ancien froissement de la toile, sont par endroits sur la surface, principalement en périphérie de l’œuvre et ne nuisant pas à la composition. Quelques trous de punaise de l'artiste sont le long du bord gauche et dans le quart supérieur droit. Présence de points d'accrétion superficiels par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold without a frame. The work is not lined. A white adhesive paper is along the turnover edges. A few areas of stable flakings, for some accompanied with former scratches or former creasing of the canvas, are in places to the surface, mostly to the periphery of the work, and not disturbing the composition. A few pin holes by the artist are along the left edge and to the upper right quadrant. There are pinpoint superficial accretions in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
