The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work was not inspected outside of its wooden strip-frame, which is attached with nails to the side edges of the canvas. Stable hairline cracking and occasional pinpoint losses are intermittently scattered. Visible upon close inspection, fine stable hairline tension cracking is to the lower turning edge. Discoloration is noted. Visible under ultraviolet light, minute spots of inpainting are to the extreme edges, with additional pinpoint spots infrequently throughout.
