The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition good. Some scratches to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. Necklace and bracelet clasps secure, with safety catches which are slightly loose. Earrings with retractable post and clip fittings. Case with signs of wear.
- Necklace tassel element length 5.3 cm, bracelet width 2.7 cm.
- Additional marks (necklace): Italian 750 mark, maker's mark 'C' for Elie Chatila, 'D 25.05 and 45.59' referring to the carat weight of the diamonds and sapphires.
- Additional marks (bracelet): Italian 750 mark, maker's mark 'C' for Elie Chatila, 'D 7.78 and 23.77' referring to the carat weight of the diamonds and sapphires.
- Additional marks (earrings): Italian 750 marks, maker's marks 'C' for Elie Chatila and maker's marks 'MR' for Mouawad, 'D 2.65 and 12.63' referring to the carat weight of the diamonds and sapphires.
- Additional marks (ring): Italian 750 mark, maker's mark 'C' for Elie Chatila, 'D 0.80 and 6.03' referring to the carat weight of the diamonds and sapphires.
- Sapphires: total stated weight 88.02 carats. With typical inclusions, some surface reaching, some scratches and a few small chips to facet edges.
- Diamonds: total stated weight 36.28 carats, unable to assess colour and clarity due to mounting, possibly on average H to J colour, VS to SI clarity.
