The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Vase:
- A shallow chip beneath the metal mount; the mouth rim has not been examined without the mount
- The foot is misshapen
- Expected surface wear and a few scratches overall
- A few glaze nicks above the foot, and a glaze flake/gap to the body
Jar:
- In overall good condition
- A few glaze gaps and small flakes to the body
- A few small shallow chips to foot
